We are living in dangerous days. The world, flesh and devil are working hard to destroy believers. How can we survive against such enemies? Only a strong relationship with the Lord will help us live a successful Christian life. He wants to build our life on the permanence of the eternal, not the instability of the temporal.
As your Pastor, I urge you to be faithful to the worship
services that you may grow. I am preaching through the book of Hebrews and we
have learned that if we start to drift
from the Word, then we will also start to doubt
the Word. Before long, we will get dull
toward the Word and become lazy believers.
The Lord
wants us to be “busy about the Masters business.” The best way to keep from
drifting is to lay hold of the anchor of
our soul - Jesus Christ!
Don’t miss worship this Sunday as we discover “The Hope of God” in Hebrews 6:13-20.

PLEASE HELP VICTIMS OF HURRICANE SANDY THIS SUNDAY!
Southern
Baptists respond to disasters. Our Disaster Relief Volunteers
contribute
manpower, ministry, and financial help during floods, hurricanes,
tornadoes,
fires, earthquakes, and urban disasters. We provide relief to
victims in
areas affected by disaster—including feeding units, shower and
laundry
units, mud-out and chain-saw units. Victims receive these services
through
trained disaster relief volunteers. Volunteers include trained
chaplains
who travel with DR units and minister to the spiritual needs of hurting people.
On Sunday,
November 11, 2012, we will receive contributions to help the victims of
Hurricane Sandy. Please use your offering envelope or pick up one at the church
and designate the amount you can give to help so many in need. One hundred
percent of your gift goes to assist the victims.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
God can use a shoebox to change a life! A simple act can
have an eternal impact on a deserving child. Please participate in this
wonderful ministry by picking up a brochure and a box at church and stuffing it
with inexpensive items for girls and boys. The boxes are collected and
distributed around the world to children and the Gospel is shared with
families. Boxes must be turned in to the church by November 14th .

Children of Good Hope are collecting canned food items for a needy family in
our community. Small monetary donations will be used to purchase items to help
with a Thanksgiving meal. The deadline
