SYMPATHY
The church family at Good Hope extends or sympathy to the family of David
Atkins (Ben Atkins’ son). “Blessed be to the God of all comfort, who comforts
us in our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any
trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
2 Corinthians 1 3-4.
VACATION
BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation
Bible School will be July 12 - 15 at 6:00 pm each evening. This is a wonderful outreach to introduce
others to Good Hope Baptist Church. Plan to attend and bring others with
you. There will be classes for all ages.
The “VBS
Store” will be open again this year. We need you to help with this
by donating
“garage sale” items (knick-knacks, do-dads, etc.) It’s too early to bring them
yet, but you might want to search your attic, garage, closets, and storage bins
and have them ready when we need them. The children purchase these donated items
with tickets they earn by memorizing Bible
verses,
mottos, etc.

family and friends.
SUMMER MISSIONS
Tammy Stevens
and the Baptist Women have taken supper to feed the life- quards at the
beach. Our church helps supply a couple
of meals in the
summer to
these young adults from around the work in an effort to share
the gospel
with them. Many seeds have been
planted. Pray that many of
these young
adults will be saved.
