SYMPATHY
The Pastor and church family

be to the God of all comfort, who comforts us in our tribulations.” 2
Corinthians 1:3-4
SUNDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP Tonight there will be a time of
fellowship after the evening service. Plan to stay and enjoy some fun, food,
and watch the game. Please bring finger foods, chips & dips, desserts,
drinks, etc.
STRESS GETTING TO YOU?
Is stress making you
frustrated and irritable? Stress relievers can help restore calm and serenity
to your chaotic life. In a recent study, the Mayo Clinic found that worship
helps to relive stress by improving your mood and helping the irritations fade
away. When you're stressed and irritable, your instinct may be to wrap yourself
in a cocoon. But worshipping is a good stress reliever because it offers
distraction, provides support, and helps you tolerate life's up and downs. So don’t avoid worship!
On Sundays
at 11:00am the Pastor is preaching on “REDUCING THE STRESS IN YOUR LIFE.”

NOTE: We cannot
insulate ourselves from the messiness of a culture that’s
far
from God. Attend your class each week and find the help you need to be informed
and sensitive to the struggles and addictions that are all around us.
A
proper perspective will equip us to be ready to minister to those who are
hurting and point them to a loving God
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Spiritual gifts are the
source of much controversy and confusion today. The
gifts are meant to be graces
from God for the edification of the church. The
misuse and misunderstanding
of spiritual gifts bring division--splitting up,
rather than building up--in
the church. On Sundays at 6:00pm come and
explore what the Bible says
about spiritual gifts and discover your gift.
