FLOWERS
The beautiful flowers placed on the Lord’s Table today are in honor,
praise and thanksgiving to Jesus
Christ, our Lord and Savior.
ADORATION TRIO
Tonight the Adoration Trio
will be at Good Hope for a Christian concert. They have blessed us before,
presenting God’s message in song. They are a dynamic group of ladies who love
to sing about Jesus. Bring some friends! It all begins at 6:00pm
AMY BELL BENEFIT
A
heartfelt “thank you” is extended to all who helped with the Amy Bell Benefit this past week. We also thank the Neighbors Helping Neighbors organization for sponsoring and
organizing the event. Odell Dorman is part of the organization. All who helped
were blessed and the Lord was honored and glorified. We pray for a successful
surgery for Amy and ask the Lord to continually bless her and make her
stronger.
BOOK
DRIVE
The Mission Friends are sponsoring a “Book
Drive” to promote literacy and community involvement. You can help by donating
gently used books to share with local institutions and underprivileged groups.
Please place books in the collection box near room 101. For more information,
see Tammy Stevens. Thanks!

SERVE THE LORD
The Nominating Committee is asking everyone
to serve the Lord at Good Hope. Please take a Volunteer worksheet in Sunday
School rooms and at the entrances of the church and circle all areas that you
will serve in the coming church year beginning in September. Turn in worksheets
in the church office or in designated boxes at all entrances of the church.
Thanks!
VACATION BIBLE
SCHOOL- July 13 through 16, 2014
VBS is always
a church-wide event. The lives of many children, teens and adults are changed
because of your willingness to serve. This is one of the most important
ministries we have at Good Hope Baptist Church and it will take your support to
make it happen. There are a number of ways you can participate. Please sign up
on the Children’s Bulletin Board. If you have any questions please talk to Dana
Booth.
SUNDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP
We will have an “ole fashion cookout and ball
game” on May 25, 2014. We will eat at
6:00 pm and play ball afterwards. The church will supply the hot dogs, potato salad,
baked beans, condiments, ice and tableware.
You can help by bringing desserts, soft drinks and tea. Be sure to bring your bats and gloves to play
or you can watch the women and men play a friendly game of soft ball. Bring your lawn chairs and cheer for your
team. We will meet at White Oak ball field just down the road off
of Adrian Highway (behind New Home Church)
