v Johnie and Patricia Johnson celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary yesterday here at the church. We wish them many more years of wedded bliss.
v Brandi Johnson will graduate from Horry-Georgetown Technical College on August 9, 2011. She has earned a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). We pray for God’s best in her life as she serves others.
ADORATION TRIO
Next Sunday at 6:00 pm the Adoration Trio will be here to share God’s message in song. They are a dynamic group of young ladies who love to sing about Jesus. Bring some friends and be blessed!

DEACON NOMINATION
Today we will nominate two candidates to serve a three year term as deacons. The Church By-laws state: “Church members shall nominate one person for each position to be filled, plus one. A list of candidates will be selected of those who have been members at least one year, received the highest number of nominations, have been approached as to their availability to serve by the Pastor and/or Deacons, and have been approved by the current Deacons. One candidate for each position in the Fellowship of Deacons will be presented to the Church for approval on the third Sunday of August.”
MOUNTAIN RETREAT
The Children and Youth will leave Thursday and return Sunday for a
time of refreshing. Pray for a great trip.
YOUTH EVENT
We will leave the church at 4:30 pm today to go to Myrtle Beach for a Christian Concert featuring Chris August. Bring $10.00 for a meal. We will arrive back at the church around 10:00 pm.
