WELCOME
GUESTS
It is a pleasure to have you worship with us. We pray that you will find a worshipful
atmosphere, friendly people and the inspiration of God’s truth revealed. Please fill out a guest card and place it in
the offering plate. Parents are welcome
to use the nursery. Whether you have
been around church all your life or this is your first attempt at making a
spiritual connection, you are welcome
here!

FLOWERS
The altar flowers today are given by Mark and Mamie Johnson to honor their son Terry’s fiftieth birthday.
(Dec. 5th). The smaller arrangement is very special to Mamie because
Mark gave it to her on the day Terry was born.
POINSETTIAS
If you
wish to place a poinsettia in the Sanctuary during the Christmas season, order
forms are available in the church foyers. Order forms along with $11.00 for
each plant need to be turned in by December 1, 2013. You may place the order
form and money in an envelope or just use one check for your tithe and
poinsettia and list it on the offering
envelope.
A GOOD HOPE CHRISTMAS
Plan to attend “A
Good Hope Christmas” on December 8, 2013 at 6:00pm. We will experience the
sights and sounds of what Christmas is all about. Invite your friends and bring
the family!
WMU
The WMU will not be using the
Lottie Moon “Christmas Card Mailbox” this year.
You may wish to share cards within your Sunday School Class or give
cards individually before or after services.
THANK YOU
A special thanks to all who
have helped in recent outreach ministries.
Seventy-five shoeboxes were filled and sent to children last week. Also
several boxes of food were sent to “Churches Assisting People” in Conway
and twenty Prison Packets were
put together and dropped off at the Waccamaw Baptist Association to be
distributed through the South Carolina Baptist Convention to each of the
prisons in South Carolina. Good Hope
Baptist Church is “On Mission” locally and around the world sharing the love of
God!
