VALENTINE’S DAY
On Valentine’s Day we try to
think of new and creative ways to show our love to others who are dear to
us. Hearts, flowers, cards, etc. are some of ways to let these special
folks know just how much they mean to us. The greatest demonstration of
love, of course, came from God the Father when He sent His only Son to become
our Savior. In essence, Jesus is God’s Valentine to us.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
This Saturday,
February 15, 2014 is “Children’s Ministry Day.” All of our children are invited
to help reach out to the community and show the love of Jesus to others. The
theme this year is “Generation Reach.” See Dana Booth for information or call
365-5757.
Our “Kid’s
Club” on Wednesday nights is a great time for the kid’s to gather and have a
fun time learning about the Lord. We really need a few more leaders to help
these young minds to grow and develop a heart for the Lord. Please see Dana
Booth to get more information on this important ministry

WOMEN
The Waccamaw
Baptist Association is focusing on the Women’s Missionary Union with a
“Mission’s Celebration”. The event will be hosted by the Buck Creek Baptist
Church on Monday, February 10, 2014. The meal will begin at 5:30pm and the
program will start at 6:30pm. Pastor Jeff Gaskins of the North Conway Baptist
Church will be the guest speaker. Buck Creek is located at 1483 Highway 905
North, Longs, South Carolinia.
