MY HOPE
My Hope with Billy Graham is a massive effort to reach people across the United States and Canada
with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Following a simple biblical model, “My
Hope” combines the reach and excitement of a nationwide media event with
the power of personal relationships. Christians across these two countries will
open their homes to share the Gospel message with friends, family, colleagues,
and neighbors using different media programs featuring Billy Graham, dynamic
music, and testimonies. Like the Apostle Matthew, some will invite their guests
into their homes to learn about Jesus using primetime television, while others
will gather at church to watch the program.
Please sign up and be a part of Billy Graham’s last nationwide crusade. Signup sheets are in Sunday School classes and at all church
foyers.

BAPTIST WOMEN
Fall schedule for Baptist Women meetings will
resume on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Meetings will be in the CLC at 7:00 pm on
the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
DEACON SELECTION
Next Sunday the church will select someone to complete the open position
in the fellowship of deacons. The following individuals cannot be chosen
because they are presently serving as deacons or they have recently served as
deacons: Charles Hucks, Brent Groome, Von Todd, Melton Dotson, Robert Ford,
Kurt Newman, Jody Hamilton, Johnie Johnson and Rodney Johnson. Please
prayerfully consider those who are faithful to the services of the church and
have a heart to serve the Lord and the church family.

Offering. Remember what you gave last
year and reflect upon how the Lord has blessed you this year and give
accordingly.

FROM THE HOSTESS COMMITTEE

Put your name on all pots, lids, and dishes.
2.
Please don’t bring silverware or serving pieces, there
are plenty in the kitchen.

Please slice all meats before bringing your food.

Bring plenty of food and tea.
5.
Please help alleviate crowding and chaos by proceeding
to the Sanctuary after dropping off
your food items.
