Table today are given by Amy Bell in honor of Hazel Singleton’s 85th
birthday which is May 8th.
MOTHER’S DAY
Let’s honor and remember our moms on
May 12th as we celebrate Mother’s Day. We will have Muffins
for Mom at 9:25 am and the whole family is invited. We will bless
all of our moms in the morning worship service and recognize the moms with the
most family present, the oldest mom and the youngest mom with a special “Woman
of God Tote Bag” (includes coffee mug, coin purse, devotion book and note pad
with pen). Bring your mom or adopt a mom to attend with you.
SUNDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP
We will have an “ole
fashion cookout & ball game” on May 19, 2013. We will eat at 6:00pm and
play ball afterwards. The church will supply the hot dogs, potato salad, baked
beans, condiments, ice and tableware. You can help by bringing desserts,
soft drinks and tea. Be sure to bring your bats and gloves to play or
you can watch the women & men play a friendly game of soft ball. Bring your
lawn chairs and cheer for your team. We will meet at White Oak ball field just
down the road off of Adrian Highway (behind New Home Church).
NOMINATING LEADERSHIP WORKSHEET
The Lord
instructs us to serve Him gladly. Please turn in your “Nominating Committee
Worksheet” as soon as you can. The
sheets are on the tables in the
building foyers. Please complete your sheet and place it in the basket on the table
beside the sheets. Thank you for your
willingness to serve the Lord at Good Hope Church.
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY
A
trip to Tennessee is planned for the week of June 17th - 21st to kick off the summer for the kids (pre-school - 5th
grade). Space is limited to the first 24 to sign up. There will be
a $25.00 fee per person to help purchase the groceries for the week. Any
