Jenell & Sonny Burke have completed painting all
of the second floor classrooms. This week they have finished the Children's
Wing in the Main Building. They have worked hard and it looks beautiful!
We appreciate their labor of love for Good Hope Baptist Church.
VBS STORE
The VBS Store will be open
during VBS in July. Melda Ford needs your help by bringing "yard
sale" items (nic nacs, books, do dads, etc.). See Melda for more
information.
KID’S DAY
All children pre-school through fifth grade are invited to participate in
Kid’s Day for the Summer Kick-Off on Saturday, June 30th. Parents
should attend with children first grade and under. Please use the sign-up sheet
on the bulletin board to let us know you will be going with us. We will be
meeting at the church at 10:30 am and will eat lunch before we make our way to
the beach. The kids and parents will be responsible for lunch. The church will pay for the admission to the
parks. Please make you plans to be a part of this fun and fellowship day with
your friends at the beach! For additional information, see Mrs. Dana Booth.
CONGRATULATIONS
Kylie Johnson received an award for maintaining the A Honor Roll for the
entire year. We are all very proud of you, Kylie.

FELLOWSHIP
Come on out tonight to our "Cookout &
Ballgame." We will eat at 5:30pm and play ball afterwards. The
church will supply the hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, ice and tableware. You can help by bringing desserts and drinks for
the family. Be sure to bring your bats, gloves and softballs
to play or bring your lawn chairs to watch and cheer for your team.
We will be meeting at White Oak Park just down the road on Adrian
Highway (behind New Home Church).
MISSION OPPORTUNITY
On
Tuesday, June 26th, we will reach out to the lifeguards with a meal and a
message. Please see Linda Hamilton today and help with this effort. She needs
help with food and those who will go and serve. Thanks!
LOST DISHES
If you are missing any dishes or such, please go by
the kitchen in the Main Building. There are a number of plates, bowls, etc.
